Assessment of patient satisfaction toward pharmaceutical benefit package provided by a health insurance corporation of Khartoum State

Background: Patient satisfaction is an important measure of health service and a key indicator the quality service. Studies focus on how to improve rather than patient satisfaction. This study was conducted identify patients’ with pharmaceutical package Health Insurance Corporation Khartoum State in Jabal-Awliya locality, Khartoum, Sudan. Methods: A cross-sectional between January August 2020. Data were collected using structured questionnaire. Satisfaction estimated Likert Scale. The association patient’s care indicators, namely: average dispensing time, percentage medicine dispensed labelled, correct dose knowledge assessed Chi- square test, where p-value < 0.05 considered significant. Results: Out 378 participants, mean age 47 comparable frequency male female participants (49.3% 50.7% respectively). 62.2% (3.11 ± 0.68). Most satisfied way pharmacist dealt them (3.7, 0.778), while low reported regarding availability within benefit (2.06, 1.17).
